Black Friday 2026 is 27 November, and the deals start weeks earlier

Black Friday is always the Friday after Thanksgiving, which puts it on 27 November 2026, and Cyber Monday on 30 November. Amazon’s own FAQ confirms both dates. The day itself now sits in the middle of a month of events, so the useful date is when each retailer starts.

Target starts first, with early deals on 5 November

Target’s holiday release of 21 October says a new Deal of the Day runs every day from 1 November to 24 December. Its Early Black Friday deals run from 5 to 7 November, followed by new limited-time offers every weekend through the season. The release also previews one day of upcoming offers ahead of time, a first for Target, so a buyer can plan rather than refresh.

Best Buy runs deals from 30 October and doorbusters every Friday

Best Buy’s calendar of 27 October starts the season with DoorBOOsters on 30 October. Early Black Friday Deals and Doorbusters follow on 6 November, with new deals every Friday after that. Black Friday doorbusters run for 10 days from 19 November, and Cyber Week Deals run from 1 to 6 December.

Best Buy’s release names RGB LED TVs among this season’s new tech, and that pushes last year’s screens down the price list. The LG C5 OLED is a model year behind LG’s newest. Price a TV like it now, so the doorbuster has something to beat.

Two Best Buy terms change how early you can buy. Its Holiday Price Match Guarantee matches a later drop on an item Best Buy sells during the holiday season. And most purchases from 30 October to 31 December can be returned through 15 January 2027, so an early buy is not locked in. Stores close on Thanksgiving Day; the app and website stay open.

Walmart’s Early Black Friday Deals run 12 to 15 November

Walmart announced 3 events on 26 October. Early Black Friday Deals run from 12 to 15 November. Black Friday Deals run from 23 to 29 November, starting online at 12:01 a.m. ET and in stores at 6 a.m. local time on 27 November. Cyber Monday runs from 30 November to 2 December.

Walmart+ members get the first 24 hours on selected online deals. For the hot Deal drops, member access opens at 12:01 a.m. ET on 12 November, and anything left opens to everyone a day later. The same pattern repeats for Black Friday, from 23 November.

Amazon has early deals now but no Black Friday week dates yet

Amazon’s Black Friday FAQ, published on 29 October, confirms Black Friday on 27 November and Cyber Monday on 30 November. It says early deals are in its Holiday Shop now, and it names no start date for a Black Friday week. Amazon’s own devices, such as the Kindle Paperwhite, are the ones to price now, so you know a real cut when the event arrives.
