Filters are the real cost, and they differ
Neither purchase price is the figure to compare, because running cost over a year is entirely filters.
Both brands use a combined particle and carbon cartridge on most models, so both stages are replaced together on the shorter of the 2 lives. That is convenient and it means paying for HEPA media that had life left in it.
Check availability as well as price. A proprietary cartridge from a brand that discontinues a model leaves you with a machine and no consumables, which is the same problem ECOVACS consumables documents in another category.
