A smart ring is a sensor; the app turns it into sleep and readiness scores. Oura includes 1 month of membership with a new ring and then lists it at $5.99 a month or $69.99 a year in the US, as of 5 October 2026. Without it, Oura says you see only 3 daily scores: Readiness, Activity and Sleep.

Samsung’s Galaxy Ring listing says no app subscription. RingConn’s own cost guide says its current rings need no monthly fee for core features.
