Power pass-through is the feature owners argue about
Every hub here draws complaints about charging through it rather than about the data ports. UGREEN’s Revodok Pro is the sharpest example: owners praise the HDMI and the 10Gbps ports, and some report the power pass-through not working at all.
A hub keeps part of the wattage it receives, so a 100W charger never delivers 100W to the laptop through one. What the watts have to match sets out the arithmetic, including the cable rule that caps an unmarked cable at 60W.
